Ding, ding, bring on Round 2!

So Pre-season for round 2 of 12WBT has begun.  For the uninitiated, pre-season is where Mish sets up two tasks a week that help get you into the right head space for the coming 12 weeks.

The first task was to examine all those excuses that you use to explain why you have lost control of your health and your life. I completed this task this week and I realised that although the excuses have not changed, I am now in a place where these excuses are presenting themselves less often. I have to talk myself into a good exercise head space less often and this is a good place to be in. Exercise and practising good nutrition has become a natural part of my life, not a conscious decision to be made every day.  That “robot mode” thing has become the way things are, not a switch to be flicked on.

Take Control – Set Your Goals – Preseason – Round 2, 2013 – 12WBT

You are asked to what you want from the next 12 weeks, what your expectations are and to set specific goals.  It is really good to know that on setting goals, that at this point, I have less than 8 kg to go to my goal weight and hopefully I will be starting the round with only the last 5 kg to go.  It has been a long time coming. I have also committed to the Fun Runs that I want to do over the next few months.  I feel like I am ready to rock and roll. BRING IT ON!
