To Infinity And Beyond!

So, I am back to the beginning for another round of 12WBT.  I admit that the last round did not go according to plan (maybe because I kind of threw the plan out the window).  I think that I got to the point where I felt that I had heard all the lessons and knew the process and so I didn’t engage with the program the way I should have.  I also admit that I got slack mid-round with both nutrition and exercise.  So it’s time to re-focus, re-engage and get my game face on.  Below is what I posted in the commitment thread on the 12WBT website.  I also commit to keep myself more accountable by blogging here at least once a week about my journey.


Hi, here I am back for another round. The last round was not so successful for me, so here I am committing to committing to all the work the program entails. I freely admit that I have been up and down with my exercise the last round. My commitment this round is to write my sessions into my diary in advance and complete every session. I will exercise at least 5 days per week, and 6 if possible.

Likewise, the snacking and mid-week glasses of wine have got to go. I commit to following the meal plan and writing down every calorie that passes my lips. No more sneaky snacks that don’t make it into the tracker. I also commit to one treat meal per week – if I go out to lunch or dinner on a day rather than Saturday, that will become my treat meal day instead of allowing myself a second treat meal.

I also commit to engaging with the 12WBT program in this round. I will watch the videos, complete the challenges and post in the forums. I think that I got a bit complacent in the last round and thought that I could get away with letting some of that stuff slide. I am now committing that slice of time each week to getting the mindset lessons, supporting and being supported by my team mates and accepting the weekly challenges.
I am committed to these changes and will do the work it takes to get there.
